Free From Fear

Fear isn't just a reaction to external circumstances. It's a spiritual force. It begins inside a person. And it IS destructive. Fear is Satan's primary weapon.

In Matthew 14 when Jesus told Peter to come to Him on the water Peter begin to go to Jesus on the water. In verse 30 it says, "But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me."

What caused Peter to be able to walk on the water? His faith in the Words of Jesus. What caused Peter to begin to sink? He saw the wind cutting up and he was afraid. See, it wasn't the wind though that caused him to begin to sink but it was the FEAR that arose inside of him because of his circumstances around.(the boisterous wind)  If he had of stayed in faith instead of fear, stayed focused on Jesus, all the terrible winds of the world would not have knocked him off course.

The WORD is what we need to meditate on. That's where our faith comes from. FEAR comes from meditating on Satan's lies! So don't do that!

The WORD of God is the SWORD of the SPIRIT! Cut the lies of the enemy to pieces so it can't be put back together. Speak the WORD and you can be FREE FROM FEAR!
